Found a great program in the Boston Globe where museums around the world lead guided museum tours for Alzheimer’s patients. They have expanded the program in Massachusetts to include screenings of movies, like Casablanca.
What a great way to entertain and stimulate these patient’s minds! It’s also a way for patients and their caregivers to bond (caretakers are welcome to attend).
The organization behind this is ARTZ (Artists for Alzheimer’s). You can find more info at: http://www.artistsforalzheimers.org/
